Therapy is a collaborative process between you and a counselor to work on areas of dissatisfaction in your life and assist you with life goals. For therapy to be most effective, it is important that you take an active role in the process.

Yes, the following insurance types are accepted: Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, and Cigna.
Frequency would depend on need. Clients come weekly, bi-monthly, and monthly.
Client information is protected by HIPAA. With the exception of certain specific exceptions, you have the absolute right to the confidentiality of your therapy. I cannot and will not tell anyone else what you have told me, or even that you are in therapy with me without your prior written permission. Under the provisions of the Health Care Information Act of 1992, I may legally speak to another health care provider or a member of your family about you without your prior consent, but I will not do so unless the situation is an emergency. I will always act to protect your privacy even if you do release me in writing to share information about you. You may direct me to share information with whomever you choose, and you can change your mind and revoke that permission at any time. You may request anyone you wish to attend a therapy session with you.

My rates are as follows:
Individual (Adults and Kids) First session $160 for 90 mins. Sessions thereafter $120 for 50mins.
Couples First session $200 for 90 mins. Sessions thereafter $150 for 50 mins. NO INSURACE ACCEPTED FOR COUPLES COUNSELING.
Student (up to age 18 and verified under graduate college students) Rate for self pay clients only $90 for 50 mins. This rate is for clients who elect to not use insurance.
Anger Management $60 per week for 12 weeks. NO INSURACE ACCEPTED FOR ANGER MANAGEMENT. This is a psychoeducation program that is court approved in the state of SC.
